It is owned by Peppermill Casinos Inc, which also owns Peppermill Hotel Casino, Wendover Peppermill, Wendover Rainbow Casino, Wendover Montego Bay, Sparks Western Village, Henderson Rainbow Club and Peppermill Las Vegas.

It was built and primary known as the Goldrush Casino but in 1985 Peppermill Casinos bought it and since then it is known as Wendover Peppermill. It was also remodeled and upgraded. Some can ask why this casino is in the middle of nowhere.
