Roulette and Its Rules

Roulette is game where a wheel is used to spin the ball around the wheel and every wheel is divided with some slots and each slot has its own color and number. You have to bet on a specific number or color or you can bet on some rows or columns. If the ball stands on your number then you win but if the ball stands on the zero number then every player of the wheel will lose. There are mainly two types of bets in roulette: one is the inside bets and other is the outside bets. As well as baccarat rules for example, the game of roulette also has very simple rules to follow.

Inside Bets

The numbers or colors of the roulette table are the inside section of the game and if you bet on the numbers then your bet will be called as inside bets.

Outside Bets

Around the roulette table you can bet on different numbers which can be occurred any ways which are known as outside bets.

There are many verities of roulette bets and some of these bets are described briefly below:

Straight-up Bet

This is a bet where you have to bet on the numbers of roulette wheel and if you win then you will get a payout of 35:1.

Split Bet

If two numbers are situated on the same but opposite part of the wheel then you can bet on two numbers at a time and you will get a payout of 17:1.

Street Bet

By this betting procedure you can bet on three numbers or colors at a time and you will get rewards of 11:1.

Square Bet

You have to bet on the junction of zero and three and if zero, one, two or three appear then you win and the reward is 8:1.

Corner Bet

You can bet on the 4 corner numbers by this bet and the reward will be 8:1.

Low to High Bet

By this system you can bet on the 1 to 18 or 19 to 36 numbers where 1 to 18 is known as low and 19 to 36 is known as high.

Black or Red Bet

You can bet on the black or red color sections or slots which are known as the black or red bet.

Odd or Even Bet

This is similar with the red or black bet. You have to bet on the odd or even numbers and this bet has the 50% chance to win.

Columns Bet

By this system you can bet on the columns of the roulette wheel and if you win then the reward will be 2:1.

Dozens Bet

This bet similar to the columns bet and you can bet on each dozen of numbers of the wheel and if you win then the reward will be 2:1.
